Interactive child development workshops customized to fit your needs

Train with a neuroscientist educator in person or virtually

What if challenging behavior isn’t something to fix but something to understand? Young children don’t misbehave—they struggle with skills their brains are still developing. Yet many educators are expected to manage defiance, impulsivity, and inattention while also meeting individual needs and delivering meaningful learning experiences. It’s exhausting and often ineffective.

In this 3 hour brain-based training session, attendees will gain a practical approach to classroom management in an early childhood settings. Educators will experience a powerful shift in perspective from reactive discipline to proactive, skill-building strategies. Our unique program balances children’s co-regulation needs with educator well-being, helping staff stay calm, confident, and in control even in the most challenging moments.

Key Concepts Covered:

  • Co-regulation and calming techniques
  • Restructuring classrooms to reduce behavior challenges
  • Rethinking lesson design with a brain first approach
  • Managing transitions and high-stress moments
  • Supporting children with impulse control and attention

How can we support young children’s brains, so they are ready, engaged, and excited to learn? What simple, effective strategies can we use every day to help children reach their fullest developmental potential during the early years?

Join neuroscientist and educator, Dr. Liraz, for an inspiring 3-hour professional development experience designed specifically for early childhood educators. This session bridges cutting-edge brain science with practical, classroom-ready strategies you can implement immediately.

You’ll be introduced to the Brain-Boosting Trifecta Framework—a powerful, research-based approach built on three key drivers of early brain development: movement, music, and multi-modal learning. These essential elements help strengthen brain connections, boost engagement, and support meaningful learning. Discover how movement energizes the brain and supports self-regulation, how music enhances memory and language, and how multi-sensory experiences deepen understanding and retention. You’ll learn how to intentionally weave these strategies into your play-based lessons and daily routines.

Through live demonstrations and hands-on, experiential activities, you’ll actively engage in the same types of learning experiences that benefit young children—leaving you with practical tools and fresh ideas to bring back to your classroom.

Key Concepts Covered:

  • Why brain development in the early years (0–8) matters
  • How movement drives academic performance and improves behavior
  • How music creates an efficient brain and transforms learning
  • How to design effective multi-sensory, play-based experiences

What if you could transform the way children learn starting with how their brains are wired to grow? This is not your typical training session – this is an experience!

Join neuroscientist, Dr. Liraz, for a 4-hour professional development workshop designed to elevate your teaching and ignite young minds. Grounded in neuroscience and child psychology, this immersive session equips early childhood educators with powerful, practical strategies to maximize learning and support whole-child development.

Step into a one-of-a-kind classroom simulation where you will actively engage in the same multi-sensory, play-based learning environments that help children thrive. Discover how to design meaningful, brain-aligned lessons that naturally integrate academic learning with social-emotional growth. Through culturally responsive and developmentally appropriate practices, you will learn how to empower children, strengthen relationships and create a classroom where every child can succeed.

Key Concepts Covered:

  • How young brains learn best and why early experiences matter
  • Brain-based strategies to increase engagement and learning
  • The role of multi-sensory, play-based learning in development
  • Supporting social-emotional growth and positive behavior
  • Designing brain-aligned, culturally responsive lesson plans

According to the CDC, 1 in 7 children in the United States experiences abuse or neglect. Yet at every age and stage, we have the power to positively change a child’s developmental trajectory. When educators shift to a trauma and brain-informed approach, they can help children combat  adversity, build resilience, and thrive. Every behavior tells a story and with the right tools, we can help rewrite it.

In this immersive 3-hour training, early childhood educators will gain the knowledge and practical strategies needed to support children impacted by trauma. Grounded in neuroscience and developmentally appropriate practice, this session explores how trauma shapes the developing brain and what educators can do today to overcome its devastating effects on children.

Participants will engage in gamified learning experiences, including a brain model demonstration, collaborative reflection, and a team challenge. Together, we will investigate how toxic stress affects behavior, learning, and emotional regulation. Gain practical tools to create a calm, connected, and healing-centered classroom where children feel safe, seen, and supported.

Key Concepts Covered:

  • The impact of trauma and ACEs on early brain development
  •  How stress affects behavior, learning, and self-regulation
  • Recognizing signs of trauma in young children
  • Trauma-informed strategies to support safety, connection, and emotional regulation
  • Resilience-building tools: movement, mindfulness, connection and emotional release

Technology is shaping childhood faster than the brain can adapt. This dynamic 2-hour, research-backed workshop immerses educators in the neuroscience of how screen exposure affects children’s attention, emotional regulation, learning, and mental health during the critical years.

Experience what it feels like to live inside a multitasking brain in our task-switching and cognitive overload group activity. Explore the technology paradox along with the positive and negative impacts of screens on the brain’s structure and function. Employ powerful, evidence-based solutions that you can use right away to help children navigate and thrive in a tech-saturated world.

Key concepts covered:

  • Building attentive, resilient and connected children
  • The good, the bad and the ugly effects of screens on brain function
  • The four practical solutions to the technology dilemma
